There’s something about eating ice cream when it’s cold and stormy outside that’s wonderfully appealing. Cosy and warm, with a big scoop of your favourite childhood flavour is pure happiness. With the clouds rolling in and rain about to strike, I took cover in the nordic inspired Häagen-Dazs House in Melbourne’s Federation Square for an afternoon treat.
COSY AND WARM, WITH A BIG SCOOP OF YOUR FAVOURITE CHILDHOOD FLAVOUR IS PURE HAPPINESS.
I must admit I have a bit of a sweet tooth, but the beauty of Häagen-Dazs ice cream is that it’s made from pure ingredients with no artificial additives. My favourite flavour, the Mint Leaves and Chocolate, was clean and white made from naturally clear mint extract – no artificial green in sight. Another winner was the Salted Caramel which was gone in a second! For all you matcha lovers out there the Japanese Green Tea ice cream is also amazing.
Made with four simple ingredients, milk, free-range eggs, sugar and cream, Häagen-Dazs is all about keeping it real. I’d recommend sharing the experience with your family and friends (mostly so you can steal each others flavours!)
If you love any excuse to relax and indulge with your own plate of almost-too-pretty-to-eat ice-cream, you’d better get in quick as the Häagen-Dazs House is only here for one more week before it relocates to Sydney. Head in before April 16 to enjoy the ultimate ice cream experience.
See you there!
